Novice lamb with korma sauce and clove studded rice

Jamie Oliver’s 15 Minute Meals has a recipe for lamb lollipops with rice, sauce and papadums, but I adapted the recipe slightly to suit the lamb I had available.

I think that’s part of the idea of 15 Minute Meals, that you don’t have to stick to the recipe, but you can adapt to your surroundings and get an idea of the skills and techniques you can use to achieve a balanced, healthy and affordable dinner in a short time period.

I didn’t have lamb cutlets, so used two lamb steaks and served them up sliced like a beef sirloin.

Delicious.
